So, what do you do to inspire people to follow God?
December 17, 2022
Isaiah 10:20-27 | Jude 17-25 | Luke 3:1-9
Some may say that they don’t know how to help other people. But I think that everyone can help others find themselves and God.
In the readings something struck me as I read the passage: “And have mercy on some who are wavering; save others by snatching them out of the fire; and have mercy on still others with fear, hating even the tunic defiled by their bodies.” It says that we can all help someone who doesn’t know where they stand and we can help them.
When asking how do I help others? I thought of something that talked about the 3 T. Time, Treasure and talent. I find I help others in many ways. I work on Wednesday with the angel choir and I love seeing their willingness to learn and sing. I sing in the angel choir and and the The St. Cecilia Choir. Singing in the choir has in many ways taught me more about my faith.
Also we are going into the 4th week of advent and lighting a candle for peace. We can all inspire people and leave a lasting impression on them that makes them believe in God and find that faith. Just like some homeless and needy people on the street and they have a belief in God and I have met many nice people while going on loaves and fishes run. I think we leave a belief in God with them and many other people in their lives and even deepen our faith in God.
So, what do you do to inspire people to follow God? How do I help find peace in this world this week? As we light the last candle for peace, how do you help people find peace? How do you find peace yourself?
