Interim Search
April 15, 2024 – May 17, 2024
Interim candidates were forwarded from Canon Dena to the Wardens. The Wardens interviewed two candidates briefly and established dates for Zoom interviews with the full vestry. Based on vestry interviews, one candidate was selected for a site visit on May 2-3. The candidate met with staff, vestry, the Bishop, and diocesan staff as well as enjoyed some time to tour the campus and downtown East Greenwich. After the visit, the vestry voted unanimously to invite the candidate to be St. Luke’s Interim Rector and the invitation was accepted. A letter of agreement was negotiated, shared with the vestry for approval, signed by the candidate and wardens, then forwarded to the Bishop for his signature on May 17. Start date will be July 1, 2024.
