It’s All About Love
December 29, 2025

Wisdom 6:1-8 | Psalm 5:1-7 | Romans 5:1-11 | Luke 4:1-13
“Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person– though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us”
Love is something that drives almost every decision a person makes. It is shown to us during the Christmas season through God sending His only Son to be our Savior. Love is such a powerful thing. Every Christmas season, we see the love that this community and the world have for one another, whether it is helping a complete stranger or making food for loved ones to show how much we appreciate each other. I believe it is important to show our love for one another, especially during this time of year.
The love that this community and church share reflects the love God shows us. People show up to help, support one another, feed the homeless, the hungry, and give to families in need. These acts remind us that love is not just something we say, but something we live out through our actions. Just as God loved us before we were perfect, we are called to love others without expecting anything in return.
The Christmas season is about love—the love we give to others and the love we learn to give to ourselves. It is a time to reflect on how we can carry this love beyond Christmas and into our everyday lives.
