Outreach and Ecumenical ministries primarily outside our own walls.
Christ Community Kitchen
St. Luke's has been providing monthly meals in our community since
January 2009. These meals are offered on a "free will offering" basis
and provide a delicious, wholesome meal for many in our community. In
the past, we've served between 65 - 80 people, however in 2011, our
attendance has risen to over 100.
We are joined by members of the East Greenwich United Methodist Church who rotate monthly with St. Luke's with the cooking and serving. We operate on a volunteer basis with the local boy scout troops participating at each meal. Come and join us. Look in our calendar for the next CCK dinner.

Lunch on the Hill Lunch on the Hill is part of our interfaith feeding ministry that now includes four of our East Greenwich churches and 5 local restaurants. Each church volunteers a Wednesday along with a local EG restaurant. The restaurants donate the food, soup and sandwiches, and our volunteers serve those in need of a good meal. Most of the participants come from the Interfaith Food cupboard where we are able to provide a fresh cooked/prepared meal for them and their families.

- Mobile Loaves and Fishes is a national outreach program that St. Luke's participates in. Once a month, our parishioners supply food, basic clothing and other essentials, as well as drive the ML&F canteen truck to the neediest among us. We serve approximately 150-170 men, women and children at the homeless shelters in Providence and surrounding communities. Visit our page in the Outreach section for more information.
